About
A proven operator, not just a consultant or AI technologist.
On my hardest days leading clinics, all I wanted to do was sit chairside with patients and talk about life. Or hang back with the team and make light of a hard shift. Or drink more coffee than I should have.
But instead, I was buried in paperwork.
My team and I were opening new centers, launching new modalities, and finding new ways to bring care to the underserved communities of San Bernardino, CA. That was much harder with the abundance of processes we had. At some point, I stopped asking how we manage this chaos and started asking how we eliminate it.
I left DaVita curious about how AI was going to change our corner of healthcare. What I found blew my mind. There were tools I wished I'd had as an operator, so I founded Camino AI Partners to help medical professionals navigate this noisy space and drive real value for their patients. More time chairside, more time with their teams.
This spirit is captured in Camino's core values: Humility, Diligence, and Curiosity.

I started my career as a biomedical engineer in Panama, fixing medical equipment and installing the first cyclotron in Central America. From there, I moved to the States to work in Accenture's healthcare practice, where I watched plenty of digital transformations succeed, and plenty fail. Both taught me lots.
I left to pursue my MBA, wanting to run my own clinics and stay close to patients. At DaVita, I became a bit of a turnaround specialist, deployed to the toughest markets with a mandate to fix care for the patients and teams struggling the most.
What I learned there: execution and culture beat strategy, every time. Get those right, and growth follows — sustainably, with real impact behind it.
That's what I want to help you do too.
Want to talk?
The best conversations we have start with the practice's actual pain — not with a pitch. Fifteen minutes is usually enough to know if there's a fit.
